Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut movie, the actress will remain in the memory of her role on her role in the Romanian film "4 months 3 weeks 2 days" which won her numerous prizes, including an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. In 2007, her performance in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film, 4 months 3 weeks and 2 days (4 3 weeks, 4 months and two days), won both the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two more awards.
